Abstract
ArchaeobotLand is a data space dedicated to archaeobotany within the LandMan portal of the CRC 1266, Kiel University. It houses archaeobotanical and other plant-related data and illustrative materials produced or collated by the archaeobotanists at Kiel, in the form of spreadsheets, documents and photographs. The archaeological information derives mainly from prehistory, primarily from the Neolithic, Chalcolithic and Bronze Age. Geographically, the information pertains to the parts of Europe where Kiel archaeobotanists have been involved in the research, either directly or through collaborations with institutions and individuals. ArchaeobotLand contains also the data produced or compiled by Kiel archaeobotanists on: plant biology and ecology, radiocarbon dating and isotope analysis of plant remains, traces of soil working (ard marks); along with an archive of public outreach actions.
Data Collection is part of ArchaeoBotLand.
Catalogue of photographs of archaeological and modern plant parts taken by and for Kiel archaeobotanists. Part-open access.
